To create a successful business, you need to take care of three things: Your Inner Foundation, Your Outer Work, and Building Your Community.

If any one of these three are left out, your business will limp along. If you leave out two, success is almost impossible. If you leave out all three, there will be no chance of success at all.

The Inner piece consists of healing our relationship with ourselves and being in touch with our true essence underneath all the past conditioning and hurt. If we don’t have a deep inner nourishing relationship with ourselves, it is difficult to express our divine gifts. We will have to continue to deal with inner work as we are growing in our business.

Reason #2: Outer

What I have noticed is that, after doing inner work whether it is in a retreat or with a coach, often people want to manifest the results of the inner work in the outer world. After doing inner spiritual healing around money, people want to see the manifestation of the inner work in the outer world as well.

We live on a physical plane on planet earth, which is our outer reality, but we need to carry the spiritual work into the physical human form. I have seen myself and other people go to workshops and feel really grounded and then they come home and don’t know what to do with all the transformation that was created. That’s why it is so important to carry the inner transformation into the outer world so you can see the benefits of the inner manifested in the outer in increased income. When doing inner work around money, practical outer evidence of inner work can show in increased business revenue.

We also need to express our gifts through our physical body. Therefore, we need to take care of it by providing it the food and rest it needs. We need shelter and comfort which allows us to deliver our gifts with ease. Money makes it possible to do that.

I noticed when I did inner money VIP days with my clients, they would get a breakthrough internally. We decided to do a business VIP day right after so they could carry the breakthrough in the practical business world.  Taking the inner healing energy into making changes in their business flooded them with confidence and they saw the result of that confidence manifested in the physical world.

Reason #3: Lack of Community

It is difficult to run a business alone; it is difficult to do anything alone. We go through a lot of emotions when building a business or living life. Having a safe space to be vulnerable gives us permission to release our day-to-day stresses. Feeling heard and feeling safe to feel we belong in a community of like-minded women who can hold the space for us so we can shine, not only makes us feel normal about our challenges; it also creates realistic expectations for us to be a human.

Having a community can give us a place where we can:

Celebrate our successes and shine.

Be validated. When our community members tell us our work is good, we get validation which creates safety to share our message without hesitating or holding back. A group can give us the permission and affirmation we’ve needed to put our work out there.

Feel empowered. When we bring our money challenges, our pain, and our powerlessness around and talk about the systems of oppressions that created a situation of lack in our lives, we are able to shift from powerlessness to a sense of personal power.
