BUILDING YOUR SUPPORT NETWORK

It is difficult to run a business alone; it is difficult to do anything alone. We go through a lot of emotions when building a business or living life. Having a safe space to be vulnerable gives us permission to release our day-to-day stresses.

At the beginning of our business, our support network can be just one person. It could be our coach or a buddy who cheers us on. What is important is not the number of people in our network, but the quality of relationship we have with the person we call our community.

Feeling heard and feeling safe with someone who can hold the space for us so we can shine, not only makes us feel normal about our challenges; it also creates realistic expectations for us to be a human.

Having support can give us a place where we can:

Celebrate our successes and shine.

A lot of time we as women do so much, but take such little time to celebrate our successes. Having a coach we can share our successes with help us build our confidence and remind us how well we are doing.

Feel validated.

When someone tell us our work is good, we get validation which creates safety to share our message without hesitating or holding back. It can give us the permission and affirmation we need to put our work out in the world.

Feel empowered

When we can talk about our money story and get tools to shift our story with support, we feel empowered to take right actions and ask for money for our gifts.

To Celebrate Wins

It is important to have a place to brag and celebrate our milestones and successes. Having the support of a champion where one can feel safe to be seen and supported to shine is an important component of creating success.

A Place to Be Vulnerable.

If we are creating a business, there are going to be times we will feel super vulnerable. Having a space safe to be vulnerable and being seen in our vulnerability and having someone to pick us up is a very important component of creating a successful business.

A Place to Share Your Dreams

And a place to feel encouraged it is possible to achieve those dreams.

A Place to Belong

A lot of us in healing professions are sensitive and felt like the odd ones out growing up. Although sensitivity did give us access to the magic that is our mission now, the feeling of being the odd ones out can linger in our ability to create success.

However, when we create support with someone who also felt the same way we felt growing up, we can feel a sense of belonging and not feel totally crazy about what we are doing.

Heal the Hurts That Stop Us from Getting Help.

A lot of healers got their gifts through the painful experiences they went through with other people. Having been hurt by people creates a negative experience of people, and yet, when building a business, we need to build relationships with people.

Asking for help creates a sense of trust that helps heal the negative experiences and creates a space for something better and more positive to occur. When done well, it creates a positive feedback loop and upward spiral.
